I am an artist working in textile materials.

I was educated at Konstfack, University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm, (MFA), my first three years at the Textile department and then two years at the Art department.
I work in different technics like weaving, embroidery, and dyeing to make wallhangings, installations and objects.

I have come to use natural dyes and shibori as tools in my work together with weaving and embroidery. I have also become interested in how to use locally produced wool and other local fibers as much as possible together with recycled and up-cycled materials.

My latest works concerns the state of the oceans. I am inspired and terrified by the waste of plastics and other garbage that float around in all of our world oceans.

Fascinated by natural processes I feel motivated of ways of making art and live life in a more sustainable way. Above all for the forthliving of mankind, because nature will always win one way or another.
